Help clients get specific about what being successful means to them

I work with clients to find out what inspires them, what would make them more effective, what feeds them and what drives their desires for success. We’ll work out the how, what, who and why they want success. Most people are quite unclear about their purpose. Desire has to be matched and underpinned with the clear vision of who they want to be and where they want to go. Focus is the magic, it is this “knowing “that drives the passion.

Help clients conquer destructive thinking

For all of us, our minds can be our own worst enemies. Destructive thinking can crush dreams and desires of success. How many times have you thought I’m not good enough, I’m not bright enough, I’m not good looking enough, I’m not worthy enough.

The problem is that sadly, our thoughts become our actions and we don’t even know it. We become what we think. If we think destructively we are more likely to give up when the inevitable obstacles arise.

To think optimistically requires awareness of our thoughts and to be on guard and take charge of our minds. I work with clients to tune into the self-talk and direct the mind to perform in a more effective manner. I help clients to become conscious, to take charge and responsibility for what you think.

Help clients to be authentic and live the lives they want

While we may say we want success, deep down, for many of us, we think, “”I’m not worthy.” How we think about ourselves, or our self-image, can make or break success. Making dreams come true relies on a healthy self image and worth. Self image has to be built and fuelled from within to be sustainable rather than dependent on others’ views and opinions. I help clients build a healthy self worth and remind clients that it is always possible to rewrite a script to boost a new self image. I also help them surround themselves with people who are cheerleaders and wise mentors who will support you in climbing the slippery slopes of victory.

Help clients maintain energy and enthusiasm

To achieve success it is imperative that the body and mind are nourished and nurtured. We have to be kind to ourselves and our bodies.

Sleep keeps us alert and fresh. It powers us through the day’s challenges. Sleep is vital for our memory, creativity, mood health and energy levels.

What we eat also affects our energy. Maintaining a balanced diet and keeping our environment clear and uncluttered is essential in maintaining a state of restfulness and maximising potential.

Exercising for as little as ten minutes a day will make our heart and lungs glow and daily sunlight gives the body vitamin D. A little time spent each day in the fresh air and sun helps the body rebalance.

I work with clients to help them feel and achieve nourishment and nurturing.

Help clients develop a daily ritual

Incorporating a daily ritual into our lives grounds us. It can be a time of that day when you synchronise your mind and body and your goals for the day. Small steps make a difference; success is made up of millions of very small steps. If we add an everyday ritual to our day, the chances of reaching our goals increases by 1000 per cent.

Help clients to focus on strengths and allow time to pursue a passion

Many of us have never thought about our strengths and passions. You may not be able to spend your entire life centered around your natural strengths, however the more that you do the more successful and joyous your life will be. I help people to uncover their strengths and set time each day for working on their strengths.

Passions are also a vital ingredient. Creative elements provide an outlet that releases tension that otherwise have no were to go and leads to frustration. The need for an outlet manifests itself in many different forms. Think about the passion with which the amateur musician plays shows such an vocation offers a level of fulfilment they can’t find in their work regardless of how accomplished they are in their job.

Help clients to realise the value of persistence

One of the main reasons that people don’t persist with goals, is that that there exists a poor self-image and a deep held belief that they are not worthy of achieving the goals. These beliefs are in most cases are unknown to their conscious self and are so deeply held that they always subconsciously approach tasks in a reserved manner and at the first sign of difficulty give in. In this case the goal was not impossible to achieve it was their persistence that was flawed.

In contrast the high achiever has a different mindset to persistence. They know they are going to fail numerous times before they reach their goal; they have the capacity to build on failure and work at creating solutions to obstacles as they arise. They don’t fear failure they embrace it as a natural occurrence on the road to success.

Help clients to think about the nature of their relationships

The quality of our family life and our relationships will determine most of our happiness or unhappiness. The key to managing every form of relationship whether personal or business is to understand that all relationships end up being what we make them. They all require time, effort, understanding, and being able to stand in the others persons shoes; a difficult task however once mastered a magical lifetime skill.
